(Fairfax, Va.)—Christi M. Daughenbaugh, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Dallas-based Borden Hamman Agency, has been named Chairman of the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) for 2011.
“Christi brings a wealth of experience to this leadership role, and has a passion for this community,” said NAILBA Executive Director Jack Chiasson. “Her enthusiasm for and direct involvement with the issues affecting the brokerage community will continue to strengthen NAILBA’s presence in Washington and the industry. She is the right person at the right time.”
Daughenbaugh will be joined by Dexter S. Umekubo, CLU, ChFC, Managing Partner at Producer's XL in the role of Chairman Elect and Raymond Phillips, Jr., CLU, LTCP, President of Brokers Source, Ltd. as NAILBA’s Treasurer. Barbara Crowley, President and CEO of Brokers Clearing House, Ltd. joins the group as Secretary and Mark D. Rosen, CLU of Underwriters Brokerage Service will remain on the board as Immediate Past Chairman for 2011.
