Johnson-Crapo Standard of Care Provision in the Senate's Regulatory Reform Draft Legislation:  YOUR ACTION IS NEEDED.

The United States Senate is preparing to debate regulatory reform legislation introduced by Senator Chris Dodd on March 15, 2010. The original draft of the bill introduced last November called for brokers and dealers to be held to the same fiduciary standard of care as investment advisors. That provision was supplanted by a bi-partisan amendment sponsored by Senators Tim Johnson (D-SD) and Mike Crapo (R-ID) proposing a study of the roles of brokers, dealers and investment advisors in the administration of investment advice.

CLICK HERE tell your U.S. Senator to support the Johnson-Crapo amendment because a one-size-fits-all standard of care is bad for business and bad for consumers.
