Valentini Joins NAILBA as Manager of Government Affairs

(Fairfax, Va.) The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) is pleased to announce the hire of Mark Valentini as the association’s Manager of Government Affairs, a new position within the organization.

Mark comes to NAILBA from the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), where he served as Assistant Director of Legislative Affairs.  At AALU, he helped manage the Legislative Circle Program, AALU’s million-dollar political fundraising program for Federal lawmakers with a strong history of industry support.  His prior experience as Deputy Finance Director for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was beneficial to the program’s success.  He also served on Reid’s Senate staff where he was Front Office Manager.

Mark earned a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and a B.A. in Government, both from George Mason University, where he served in the GMU student senate and studied abroad at Mansfield College at Oxford University.  He is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Toastmasters International, GMU Alumni Association, and the GMU School of Public Policy Alumni Association.

Mark is a native of McLean, Virginia where he continues to reside.
