Editorial Advisory Panel
The purpose of the Editorial Advisory Panel is to guide the editors of Perspectives to sources of information, point out trends in the marketplace, and ensure the appropriate direction for an article. The panel serves under the auspices of the NAILBA Communications Committee.
Editorial Advisory Panel Responsibilities:
- Identify trends in the marketplace impacting NAILBA member agencies + / -
- Be available to answer editorial staff’s questions with return phone calls within 24 hours
- Provide ideas for the direction of the magazine
- Provide ideas for feature coverage on issues impacting NAILBA member agencies + / -
- Provide manuscript consultation, especially on technical material
- Provide regular critiques of the magazine content and compare to other magazines read by the readership
- Ensure the appropriate direction of an article
- Assist is finding article contributors
- Meet once a year for a formal editorial advisory panel meeting to discuss trends in the industry and to evaluate the magazine
- Provide ideas on how to increase consumption/readership
- Provide ideas on new advertisers
- Provide ideas on increasing secondary readership within the agency
