HANING TO JOIN NAILBA STAFF
(Fairfax, Va.) The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) announced today that on Monday, March 10, Susan Haning will join its staff as Director of Business Development.
“Susan is a results-driven sales strategist with over 20 years of record sales achievements,” said NAILBA Executive Director Jack Chiasson. “We’re pleased to welcome someone with Susan’s vast sales experience to the NAILBA team.”
Most recently, Haning was the National Sales Manager for AVW-TELAV Audio Visual, Inc. In that capacity, Haning was responsible for soliciting national business for the company and serving as a local support for customers located in the DC Metro area. Prior to that, Haning served as an account executive for GES Exposition Services.
Haning has a strong convention industry background with involvement in both the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) as a past Board Member and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) as the chairman of the 2008 Education Committee, a member of the CEM Learning Program faculty, a national program committee member, and a former local secretary and membership chairman of the DC Chapter.
Haning also served on the Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) Capital Chapter education program committee; the National Community Services/Network for the Needy; and as a member of both the Springtime in the Park and Associate Member Advisory Councils for the former Greater Washington Society of Association Executives (GWSAE). Additionally, Susan has served as a Board member and Committee Chair for a number of other industry organizations.
“NAILBA is fortunate to have someone with Susan’s qualifications and experience ready to step in to grow NAILBA’s revenue producing opportunities,” said Chiasson. “I have no doubt that she will contribute significantly to our continued growth.”
