NAILBA Hosts Independent Advisor Networking Dinner at 2008 NAIFA Convention and Career Conference

(Fairfax, Va.)  On Monday, September 8, the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) hosted the first-ever Independent Advisor Networking Dinner at the 2008 NAIFA Convention and Career Conference.

“When this opportunity presented itself during a meeting of the Executive Committees of our two organizations back in January, NAILBA welcomed this chance to thank the independent agent community for their support of the brokerage industry,” stated Gary Dworkin, NAILBA Chairman-Elect.  

Over 125 independent agents attended the networking event, held during NAIFA’s recent Convention and Career Conference in San Diego, Calif.  By all accounts, the event was a tremendous success.

“Our member agencies would not be in business without the staunch support of the independent agent community,” continued Dworkin. “I think that our participation at NAIFA was an extremely wise and timely investment of NAILBA's time and energy.”
