NAILBA To Host Its First-Ever CEO-Level Conference

(Fairfax, Va.) On February 5, 2009, the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) will host its first-ever Executive Forum, an invitation-only original program specifically designed to help NAILBA agency principals and senior-level executives grow their personal equity.

“While most NAILBA educational programs trend toward the business of brokerage, this event is the first of its kind that focuses on the personal development of the agency executive,” stated NAILBA Chairman of the Board Gary Dworkin, CLU, RHU.  “The 2009 Executive Forum is NAILBA’s first step toward a full-fledged, CEO-level educational and networking “retreat” – time and space for agency principals to get the ideas and solutions that will make a difference in both their businesses and lives.”

Developed in response to the 2008 Education Needs Assessment Survey results, in which personal enrichment led responses among agency principals for what they considered to be most valuable to individual success, the NAILBA Executive Forum will be conducted annually and rotate throughout the country.

This year’s event features Simon T. Bailey, an internationally known speaker, author and consultant, who will challenge agency executives to shift their thinking and attitudes to achieve higher levels of engagement, retention, and productivity.  Bailey honed his expertise in leadership, sales, and customer service over two decades with Hyatt Hotels, the Orlando Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Walt Disney Company.   Currently, companies such as McDonald’s Corporation, Microsoft, Oracle, and Verizon use Bailey to help transform their company cultures and processes.

“This event is made even more successful with supporters like Credit Suisse, ING, Legal & General America/Banner Life/William Penn, Mutual of Omaha, PaperClip, Portamedic, and Prudential,” continued Dworkin.  “We extend our sincere gratitude to these companies for supporting this inaugural event.”

Editor’s Note:  Members of the press are invited to attend this event.  For more information, contact Janay Rickwalder at jrickwalder@nailba.org.
