NAILBA Announces Slate of Speakers

September 10, 2007 (Fairfax, VA) Former Secretary of the Treasury John Snow and ABC News Correspondent Sam Donaldson join comedy troupe The Second City as General Session presenters at the 26th Annual Meeting of the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA).

“The NAILBA Meetings Committee has worked tirelessly to ensure an unforgettable experience for NAILBA 26 attendees,” said NAILBA 2007 Meetings Committee Chairman Gary Dworkin.  “And our reputation for thought-provoking and entertaining speakers continues with this slate.”

Drawing on his broad experience in business and government, former Secretary of the Treasury John Snow will address the key economic issues of our time with a real insider’s view of the economic policy-making process.  Attendees will learn how the former Secretary spearheaded the acquitision of the Chrysler Corporation.

Additionally, iconic Sam Donaldson will offer commentary on the top political stories of the day and performers from Second City will provide insight into the elements of improvisational comedy and show how these skills apply to the business world.

For more than a quarter century, NAILBA’s Annual Meeting has seen unprecedented growth in exhibitors and attendance. With 139 exhibit booths sold and 119 companies represented, this year is no different.
